Guide to creating strong passwords

A strong password is the first step in protecting your accounts from cyber attacks. Weak passwords can be easily guessed or cracked. Strong password characteristics: At least 12 characters long, contains uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. Does not contain sequential (abc, 123) or repeating (aaa, 111) characters. Things to avoid: Birth dates, names, common words, keyboard patterns (qwerty), and simple number sequences (123456).
